Read the detailed information and instrument availability: https://www.ill.eu/for-ill-users/applying-for-beamtime/standard-access

In particular, pay attention to the section Beamtime allocation policy: "two-thirds rule"
Proposals from non-member country proposers will only be guaranteed a chance of acceptance if they are part of a collaboration with at least two-thirds of the proposers coming from one of the Associate or Scientific Member Countries of the ILL.

News on instruments
SHARPER (the new upgraded SHARP instrument)  will be again available from this round. On D007, a limited number of days will be allocated for subcommittee use during the third cycle. As commissioning progresses, we may have the opportunity to increase availability. The new MoTo instrument will be available as a second (monochromatic) imaging station at the ILL.
The instrument teams eagerly await your proposals!

Panel meetings: 8-9 April 2025
Scheduling period: from September 2025
Autumn call deadline: 15 September 2025

INFORMATION ABOUT THE REACTOR OPERATION

The reactor restart has been delayed due to project setbacks, the heavy workload on staff, and preparations for the forthcoming extended shutdown.
Rather than the originally planned two cycles before summer (46 days, 58.3 MW), a single cycle will now take place over 63 days, running from Monday, May 5, to Sunday, July 6.
Proposals approved in the next round will be scheduled for the second cycle of 2025, following the summer break. Additional details about the second cycle of 2025 will be announced soon.
