The European Spallation Source (ESS) andthe Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) are pleased to invite the neutroncommunity to the

ESS-ILL User Meeting 2026, taking place 18–20 November 2026 in Lund,Sweden.

 

The joint ESS–ILL User Meeting brings together theinternational neutron community to share the latest scientific results, discussemerging opportunities in neutron research, and provide updates on thedevelopment and capabilities of both facilities.

 

The programme will feature plenary talks, facility updates, andscientific discussions highlighting the role of neutron scattering inaddressing major scientific and societal challenges.

 

The following themes will be in focus:

 

  • Quantum Materials
  • Liquid-Liquid Phase Separation
  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Batteries and Energy Materials 
  • Nuclear and Particle Physics

 

We look forward to welcoming the community to Lund for thisimportant gathering.
