The Center for Structural Molecular Biology (CSMB) is pleased to announce the 5th Bio-SANS Bootcamp, taking place November 19–20, 2026. This virtual workshop will provide practical training in the application of small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) to biological solutions and biomaterials.
The bootcamp is designed to help researchers develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan SANS experiments, collect data, and perform data analysis. The program will include:
- Lectures covering the fundamentals of small-angle scattering theory
- Practical guidance on experimental design and sample preparation
- Strategies for SANS data collection
- Parallel breakout sessions focused on:
- Data analysis of biomacromolecular complexes
- Data analysis of hierarchical biological systems
Registration is open. Participation is limited to 35 attendees. Registration will close on November 18, 2026, or earlier if capacity is reached.
